Intermediate Dance
Course Units: 0.25
This course is for students who have completed Beginning Dance or for those entering the dance program at an intermediate technical level. The dance techniques of modern, jazz, and ballet are studied, as well as composition and choreography. Guest choreographers work with students, bringing a rich diversity of styles and techniques to the program. This class participates in a performance given during the second semester. Field trips to professional dance concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area may also be included in the course. Prerequisite:Â Beginning Dance or equivalent experience. Satisfies P.E. requirement.
