National Latin Exam Results 05-06
Each March all CPS Latin students take the National Latin Exam. This spring they joined over 134,00 students from all 50 states and 13 foreign countries. The test focuses on Latin grammar and reading comprehension but does include a number of questions on mythology, Roman history, geography, derivatives, daily life, and even Roman numerals! It is actually a "fun" test.
All CPS participants received a certificate and/or medal this year. Two seniors, Phoebe J.-B. and Noah B., received their fourth gold medals on the test and received a copy of the Oxford Classical Dictionary for this difficult achievement. Kudos to them both.
