This is the perfect course for the chem connoisseur. It is a user-friendly, second-year course covering general chemistry much the way it is done in first-year college courses. Students are prepared for the Advanced Placement examination in chemistry but may take the course without taking the exam. Laboratory work is emphasized. Prerequisite: Chemistry with grades of B or better; Pre- or corequisite: Math IV, or permission of the instructor. AP Chemistry is a year-long course.
