AP Physics
Course Units: 1.0
This class is for the student ready for a challenge. It is a fast-paced course that covers both halves of the Physics C exam (mechanics and electricity) that will resemble a first-year college class. While the class covers fewer topics than the regular physics class, it will go far deeper and is intended for students who will go on to study science or engineering. Students will learn physics using the language of calculus, but a strong emphasis will be placed on understanding the underlying concepts. Pre- or co-requisite: Math V. AP Physics is designed to be a year-long course, but may be dropped after one semester. Physics is designed to be a yearlong course, but may be dropped after one semester.
