"Swimming and playing basketball at College Prep have been amazing experiences for me. The best part of being on these teams is being a part of a close-knit group of people who support each other everyday. I love coming to practice and being able to put school work aside for a few hours. It is a wonderful release. My most memorable moment in basketball was when the Varsity team went to Cloverdale for an overnight tournament. We shared so many laughs and mini-adventures in that little-town. The team came back even closer than before. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season now more than ever. The most memorable moment I have from the swim team is a no-brainer. It is definitely last year's Championship meet. The girls team had gone undfeated all season, but halfway through the meet we were in second place. The team had been working for this victory all season, so when the announcer said that we weren't in the lead we all felt tense. In the second half of the event, we continued racing amazingly. Everyone gave their all in order to clinch the win for our team. I will never forget the anticipation we all felt while listening to the final scores announced. College Prep declared the champion and we all went crazy. It was amazing to know that all the work we put in during the season had been worth it! Our final victory was the cherry on top of a brilliant season. "
