2007 Graduate Colin H. Qualifies for 2008 Olympic Swimming Trials
Colin H., a 2007 CPS graduate, qualified for the 2008 Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha Nebraska with his 5th place finish at the swimming Junior Nationals last week. Colin swam a lifetime best 2:07.05 in the 200 Individual Medley to qualify not only for the Olympic Trials but also for Senior Nationals. Colin also qualified for Senior Nationals in the 400 Individual Medley, swimming a 4:32.01, good enough for the 6th fastest time of the meet. Colin's most recent accomplishments capped off a stellar 2007 swim season that saw Colin win CPS's first North Coast Section swim title in the 200 Individual Medley in May. He just missed capturing a second NCS title by tenths of a second in the 500 Freestyle.
College Prep will be looking out for Colin at both Senior Nationals and the 2008 OIympic Trials!
