Mission Statement

The focus of the CPS Athletic Department is to promote and teach all CPS students the lifelong values of sportsmanship, integrity, commitment, personal responsibility, teamwork and self-discipline.  The department's primary goals are to develop these characteristics through fielding a competitive interscholastic sports program promoting its "sound body-sound mind" philosophy.  Participation will lead students toward productive and ethical lives, reflecting the school's values of consideration, trust and mutual responsibility.
