Tennis defeats CSU
Win versus Crystal Springs, 4-1
Record: 9-2 (6-0 conference)
Today we went out to the posh uplands of Hillsborough, and returned with yet another convincing victory. The more exciting event occurred when we explored the school in search of the bathroom. The mansion that currently houses the high school was apparently once the summer home of the Rockefeller family, and it had all of the ornate ridiculousness that you would expect of a wealthy oil baron's abode. We peered out the window to discover a grassy expanse approximately the size of two football fields. Given that it was unmarked, and that we had already seen a baseball diamond and a soccer field, this space did not seem to have any particular function other than to be used for general frolicking and merriment. At this point, one of the Pauls said something along the lines of "at least we have the music building lawn", and we all shot him dirty looks. We were about to go frolic merrily, but then Sam found the bathroom. The walls were covered with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and for a nickel you could buy a luxury toilet seat cover, which was presumably made out of only the finest velvet. I was pretty flabbergasted.
Anyway, eventually we played a tennis match and won our 6th in a row. Everyone played well, props to Josh for showing up, Also props to Josh for ordering in Spanish when we went to McDonalds after the match. Scores:
