Golf defeats Bentley by one stroke

Cougars:  A nice win over Bentley today at Rossmoor GC, 177-178, thanks to the steady play of #1 and #2 players Jaewon (40) and Mark (42) who won out over their opponents by a narrow combined score of 82-85; also, Gina (47) and Dev (48) kept their match close, although trailing in strokes, 93-95, thus the one point win.  `The win was highlighted by three birdies from the putters of Jaewon #5; Dev #8; and Mark #9 (the final hole of the match) who also finished the last four holes of the match par-par-bogie-birdie to clinch the margin of victory. The team evened its league and overall records to 2-2 and 4-4. Wednesday we are scheduled to play OMI at Tilden, with Ben back in the lineup after a day off.  Please bring your own snacks and drink tomorrow, so we won't be begging for food and water on the course!!  Coach G..
