Var Volleyball @ Emery-RESULTS

The Varsity team earned their fourth victory of the season against Emery last Wednesday. “The chemistry on the court was outstanding,” stated coach Linda Desimone. The subs came off the bench and played confidently; they maintained the aggressive play as they moved on and off the court. “Their ability to keep the chemistry alive on the court made a huge difference in today’s match,” Desimone continued. She hopes that the timing and balanced play she saw on the court today will carry over to tougher opponents they will face in the coming weeks.  The team hit consistently and set the ball to a variety of players. L. Phillips was the top hitter with 6 kills, followed by A. Mahon with 5 and A. Barnard and E. Pickrell with 4 kills each. Serving was strong again today. K. Williams was the top server with 8 aces, followed by A. Barnard with 6 and A. Mahon with 4. The final scores were 25-5, 25-11, and 25-17.
