The Learning Center, 2008-2009

The aim of the Learning Center is to provide support for students who need extra help with their academic work.  Aldo Rodriguez will be helping students who need math/science help, and Alexis Mulvihill will be focusing on writing, reading, and grammar support.  The Learning Center teachers will be available for:

• One-on-one tutorials (by appointment, usually)
• Group work (lunchtime sessions in advance of grammar tests, for instance)
• Study skills support
• Peer tutor coordination
• Help navigating learning styles and differences
