How to cite electronic sources

These are examples of citations for electronic resources, such as CD-ROM sources, online databases, email, and free websites.

Use these citation examples to help you compile your Works Cited, Reference List or Bibliography page. Refer to the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (available in the College Prep library) for documentation on citing sources within the text of your paper and for citing other types of sources not listed here. For information on citing print sources, please go to page on how to cite written resources.

*Citations on your bibliography page should be double-spaced and the second line should be indented.*
