Home Page Links Policy

	The home page of The College Preparatory School website communicates a sense of our very close-knit community. In order to preserve the integrity of this image, no outside links will be posted on the home page. However, we encourage individuals or organizations related to CPS to support the school by creating ancillary web pages or sites pertinent to our shared endeavors. Links to those pages or sites will be posted on the appropriate categorical pages within our website. Therefore, the CPS webmaster should be consulted prior to the publication of print materials referring to items contained in or linked to/from our website. This prior consultation will ensure that printed references to our website will have accurate addressing information and can be easily found by your intended audience. We choose to maintain a non-commercial atmosphere at The College Preparatory School; therefore, no commercial advertising will be permitted on CPS web pages. We expect that sites to which we link will keep the school's mission and reputation in mind when they review content.

Student Web Page Policies

	To publish a web page on a CPS server, students must have a faculty sponsor who is responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of content. The web page must have academic or co-curricular value. The web page must adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy for technology at CPS. To maintain the safety and privacy of students at CPS the inclusion of contact information, email addresses, and/or full names on the web page is prohibited. Student web pages may not contain nor link to commercial endeavors. CPS webservers do not support the running of scripts (cgi, php, etc.). Student web pages may not include copyrighted materials without the permission of the author or, when appropriate, the full citation.
