Changing Department Contact Information

These tutorial elements assume that you know how (and have permission) to log in, create a new item, and save that item. It also assumes that you are familiar with the layout of a CPSWeb, page and that you have a clear idea what you hope to accomplish in your area of the site. Editing the Static Content that Appears Above and Beneath your Department Photo

  1. Log in and navigate to your area of the site.

  2. Click on the "contents" tab.

  3. Find the folder with a title that begins "Contact Us"

  4. Click on it, then click on the "Edit" tab.

  5. The title of this folder is the text that appears above your department's photo. The description of this folder is the text that appears below your department's photo

Changing your Department's Photo

You'll need to have the photo in a digital format saved somewhere on the hard drive of the computer where you are working. This file should be approximately 200 pixels wide, or it will take a long time for your department page to open.

  1. Log in and navigate to your area of the site.

  2. Click on the "contents" tab.
  3. Find the folder with a title that begins "Contact Us"
  4. Click on that folder to see its contents.
  5. Find a document called "Department Photo." Click on it to open it.
  6. Click on the "edit" tab.
  7. In the Image field, click on the "Browse" button. This will present you with a dialog box that  will allow you to navigate to the photo you wish to upload. Click on it and click "Open."
  8. Save your changes.
