Welcome!
On behalf of the faculty, staff, trustees, and students of College Prep we extend to you a warm welcome as you consider The College Preparatory School for your high-school experience.
The College Prep mission is as follows: "The College Preparatory School, a community of students, teachers and staff, prepares our students for productive, ethical lives in college and beyond through a challenging and stimulating education in an atmosphere of consideration, trust, and mutual responsibility.” We at College Prep are proud to offer a rigorous and wonderful education for our students. The life of the mind is of paramount importance to our mission, and because of this, we attract and retain talented faculty and students.
While we are certainly proud of our reputation as a premier academic high school, what may be overlooked is the milieu in which this education takes place. At a recent graduation ceremony, a departing senior remarked that she felt safe at College Prep, respected, and free to develop her voice in an environment abundant with encouragement and support. It is the combination of unparalleled academics within an “atmosphere of consideration, trust, and mutual responsibility” that makes College Prep such a special school.
As we assemble each year’s class, we seek students who will not only benefit from our superior academics, but also make positive contributions to our community. Each new College Prep class boasts writers, math and science enthusiasts, athletes, artists, history buffs, linguists, debaters and those who are open to discovering their passion. We embrace and encourage students from diverse backgrounds to join our community.
College Prep is a warm and welcoming school, tucked into a valley on a beautiful, flowering campus. We cordially invite you to experience our world in person through our open houses, campus visits, and arts performances. We greatly look forward to getting to know each applicant as you search for the high school that will best suit your needs. Admission packets, including a complete application to the school, are available beginning in the fall. To receive a packet, please click here.
Best regards,
