CPS Cross Country Boys Ranked #2 D-V team in the State
The CPS boys cross country team competed at the Stanford Invitational on September 30th and emerged with a dominating win in the Division V (D-V) race. This showing no doubt was a major factor in their being ranked as the #1 North Coast Section (NCS) D-V team as well as the #2 Division V team in the state, the highest ranking a CPS team has ever held in the midseason.
The CPS girls team came in 9th in the Stanford D-V race, and find themselves ranked in the top 10 for NCS D-V girls teams.
"Everyone came in with his or her own goals, and everyone left with victories – some larger, some smaller. It was a learning experience for some, inspiration for the future for others, " said Justine, CPS senior and team co-captain.
