CPS Junior makes strides on Golf Course

Mia K. has a full plate this Fall. As well as the demands of her academic life at CPS, she is taking great strides as a talented amateur golfer.

Junior M. Kabasakalis, who won the NCS Golf Championships last week, finished 4th at the Northern California Golf Championships on Monday November 7th.  On a windy, testing day, Kabasakalis shot a 77 on the par-71, 6,021-yard Green Tree Golf Course in Vacaville.  She finished 6 strokes behind the champion and was one stroke off third place.  Her fourth place finish earned her one of six spots for the State Golf Championships on Wednesday, November 16 at the PGA Southern California Golf Course in Beaumont.
