Oxfam Feast and Fast

OXFAM FEAST - TUESDAY 11/14
For a $5 donation to OXFAM Relief Fund, your students will be able to participate in a school wide simulation designed to show how resources are distributed around the world. "Ist 2nd and 3rd" world lunches will be randomly given out in proportions to reflect the distribution of global resources. Help your students really live the experience by not sending them off to school with a lunch on Tuesday.

OXFAM FAST - WEDNESDAY, 11/15
Students in previous years, have come up with creative ways to "fast" Some will do without cell phones, ipod, computer, TV, solid food (apple juice will be available on campus),or remain silent, speak in another language only, sing their communications, use no electricity at home,  etc. Support your student's participation in the FAST by pledging a few dollars for his or her choice of something "TO DO WITHOUT" for the day. Offer friends the opportunity to contribute too.
