Samuel Beltran

Director

Educational equity and student advocacy are a driving force for Samuel. He identifies as a Filipino immigrant and is the first in his family to attend college in the US. His work includes curriculum design, organizational leadership, teacher training, diversity and inclusivity and participation in the People of Color/ Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Samuel received his BA in English from Williams College, and his MA from Harvard University in Educational Technology and Instructional Design. He has been an information architect and content strategist in web design agencies, including Ogilvy Interactive in NYC. He started teaching in Japan in 1987 and has been in the classroom or in educational administration for over 25 years. Prior to joining the Partners Program, he was Director of Academics, Curriculum and Instruction at the Summerbridge Program, SF University High School.
