The Partners Program

Founded at College Prep in 1986, The Partners Program provides programs and creates partnerships that bolster academic success and improve access to educational opportunities for under-resourced youth in the Oakland Unified School District.
During the school year and in the summer, our teachers, college interns, and high school mentors partner with middle school students to give them the tools and scaffolding to support them on their road to a college education. Each summer, 100 students in the 7th through 9th grades gather on the College Prep campus for our academic and enrichment program. During the school year, students who attend one of our OUSD middle school partners can also receive weekly tutoring. Our high school mentors make a significant impact in the lives of our middle school students and our students inspire their tutors with their enthusiasm and aspirations for learning.

The Partners Program is FREE for all our students.
