Traditional Japanese Dumplings

The Japanese language class made dango, mochi-like dumplings, in honor of the traditional mid-September moon viewing festival (tsukimi). Since traditional tsukimi dango are rather plain, they put sweet soy glaze over them and made into "mitarashi dango" which is a common and popular sweet in Japan. They're fat-free, gluten-free, and cholesterol-free!
