PrepTalk: Black Lives Matter

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors gathered in the Buttner auditorium for a lively discussion about about the Black Lives Matter movement. Our guests Deirdre Smith, who works with the BlackOut Collective, and Joshua Kahn Russel, who works with the Bay Area Solidarity Action Team, shared advice and stories about social justice and how to get involved.

College Prep student, Eliza who is also a Community Action Team (CAT) member, commented, “This topic is extremely important for our school to learn about—we live in a very diverse place where the Black Lives Matter movement is a prominent part of our community.”
