Welcome to the College Prep Parents' Association!
All Prep parents and guardians are valued members of the PA, whose purpose is to support the school and help build the school community.
The PA is a busy and dynamic organization. We invite and encourage you to attend our monthly meetings, where we feature interesting speakers from across the school who provide insight into Prep’s academics, administration and social life. We also report on upcoming PA events and activities.
This section of the Prep website is your resource for all things PA. Please explore these pages for information about volunteering, participating and enjoying everything the PA has to offer you and the Prep community.
Our community building events include:
- Periscope, the monthly newsletter for the entire school community
- Social events for parents in fall and spring
- Treats for faculty and staff throughout the year
- Graduation reception for seniors and their families, June 7, 2013
We raise significant amounts of money for the school through a variety of engaging and rewarding activities, including:
We ask each Prep family to help underwrite PA community-building activities by donating $45 each year (larger and smaller amounts are always gratefully accepted and all donations are tax-deductible). Donations can be made by clicking
here to add them directly to your College Prep account, or by mailing them to the Parents’ Association in care of the school.
Additionally,
the Parents' Association Membership Form allows
parents to specify if you are interested in volunteering for PA -
sponsored activities. Please mark the activities that you may be
interested in. If you have a special skill that you would like us to
know about, please include it. We are always looking for good parent
volunteers! Volunteering for PA activities is a wonderful way not only
to support the school, but to get to know the school community,
including the other outstanding and interesting parents and guardians of
our students.
