Caring Committee Chair

The caring committee consists of no more than two Board members, though volunteers are called on to implement needs of distresses CPS families.  This committee meets only needs such as dinners, transportation and errands for a time not to exceed one month.  All other needs are referred to the CPS Counselor.  She/he:


1.    Attends monthly Parent Association Board Meetings.

2.    Publicizes the committee for the CPS community to know what it does.

3.    Checks with the CPS staff ( Head of the School, Dean or Office)  for possible needs of CPS families.

4.    Refers alumni families to the CPS Counselor.

5.    Keeps confidentiality to the best of its ability, but cannot guarantee it.

6.    Develops a volunteer list for immediate implementation.

7.    Buys flowers and sends notes to families with the approval of the President and Treasurer.

8.    Writes a report at the end of the year for future referral for the next Caring Committee.
