Corresponding Secretary
The Corresponding/Hospitality Secretary is responsible for correspondence from the Board and for the refreshments served at every Board meeting. She/he:
1. Attends the Parents’ Association board meetings monthly. Arrives early to help set up the refreshments and nametags.
2. Orders and manages the stationary and creates name tents (tags) for each Board member to be used at each meeting.
3. Writes correspondence for the Board, when requested by the President or as needed.
4. Designates board members to bring refreshments for the Board meetings. E-mails or calls them each month to remind them. Make sure there are napkins and cups at each meeting
5. Creates labels, designs, prints and mails out invitations and collects RSVP’s for the Board’s Holiday Party in December and the Changeover Meeting in June.
6. Creates (or has the office create) mailing labels of the Board members at the end of the school year to be used by the Board for mailings (President, Nomination etc.)
7. Updates materials to be passed onto the next Corresponding/Hospitality Secretary.
