Junior Reps

The four Junior Reps are responsible for the CPS graduation decorations and refreshments for the reception as well as at least one social event.  She/he:

1.    Attends the monthly Board meetings.

2.    Chooses one contact person on the committee for communication purposes.

3.    Plans and implements the Graduation Reception with the help of the Junior parents who are recruited and organized by the reps. This involves the food, drinks, flowers table arrangements, shifts and parking. This task requires the close cooperation and involvement of each Junior rep. The planning and recruiting start as early as February to ensure that articles are in the Periscope and the different aspects foof the reception are in order. The Graduation is the second weekend (on a Sunday) in June. The Junior Reps must be available to help with the event on the weekend of the Graduation. It is suggested that they attend a Graduation previous to the one that they are planning the reception for.

4.    Plans and arranges at least on Junior Parent Social either at school or in a home.  Must coordinate the social date(s) with the President of the board and the CPS staff.

5.    Publicizes and describes these events in the Periscope, on the website, through flyers and follow-up calls.

6.    Keeps a record of these events for future referral.

7.    Checks and signs off on the budget amount with the Treasurer of the Board and provides receipts or detailed lists for reimbursements.

8.    Updates materials to be passed on to the next Junior Reps.
