Recording Secretary
The Recording Secretary is responsible for the records of the Parents’ Association’s meetings, both in providing the minutes and writing an abbreviated report for the Periscope. She/he:
1. Attends all Executive and regular Parents’ Association meetings.
2. Writes and emails the minutes of the Parents’ Association (PA) meetings to all PA Board members, guest speakers, and Head of School for revisions.
3. Has the school office send email reminders of upcoming meetings shortly before the next meeting to all parents in the school, along with an attached copy of the corrected minutes.
4. Consults with the President in matters of confidentiality.
5. Writes a summary article of Parents’ Association meetings for the Periscope.
6. Maintains past minutes for the Parents’ Association to refer to as needed.
7. Maintains current roster of PA Board member addresses, phone numbers, emails, etc.
8. Updates materials to be passed on to the next Recording Secretary.
