Scrip Program Chairs
The co-chairs of the Scrip Committee are responsible for the Scrip program, which is a fund-raiser for the Wish List for CPS. The Wish List is for items chosen by the faculty departments that are not covered by the school budget. She/he:
1. Attends monthly Parents’ Association Board meetings.
2. Publicizes and promotes scrip for all parents including an optional annual phonathon to try to enlist all CPS families.
3. Gives informational presentations to both faculty and board members to try to increase participation.
4. Develops literature to explain the programs and has e-scrip sign-up sheets at appropriate CPS events, such as Back-to-School Day and the New Parents Meetings.
5. Follows up with phone calls and completes missing information on sign-up sheets and then submits all completed sign-ups to e-scrip.
6. Maintains a separate Parent Association checking account and keeps a record of all moneys in and out. Checks and signs off on the budget amount with the Treasurer of the Board and provides receipts or detailed list for reimbursements and reports to the Treasurer of the Board.
7. Contacts other resources to develop whatever programs are best to serve CPS parents.
8. Sends participating parents and organizations acknowledgments.
