Vice-President

The Vice-President makes a two year commitment to the Board, first as VP and in the second year as President.  She/he:

1.    Attends all Executive and regular Board meetings and acts as advisor to the President.

2.    Serves on the Safety Committee of the CPS staff, and reports to the Board on those meetings. Attendance at least once a month is advisable, more often if time allows. Meetings are usually held once a week in Andy Dean’s office on Wednesdays from 12-12:30 during lunch.  The VP is welcome to get lunch in the faculty room.

3.    Aids the Nominating Chair and committee in the selection of the following year's Board members.

4.    Sets up the sale of excess school directories at Back to School Day in October.

5.    Communicates or meets regularly with the President to ensure necessary training for the Presidency the following year.

6.    Revises bylaws if necessary.

7.    Buys and presents the President with a gift at the change-over/ social meeting  in June.
