* All grants for financial assistance are need based. Gifts to the College Prep Annual Fund support the school's operating budget, providing resources for competitive faculty salaries, scholarships and the expansion and enhancement of educational and recreational programs and community service.
Planned gifts enable donors and their heirs to receive long-term financial benefits while making a substantial gift to College Prep that the school will receive at a later date. Planned-giving benefits for donors and their heirs can include income for life, considerable tax benefits, and professional investment management.
Gifts of real estate can be made outright or as a remainder interest on a case-by-case basis after a thorough analysis by the Development Committee and approval of the Board of Trustees.
All gifts are subject to approval by the school to ensure that each gift is consistent with the school's mission, core values, philosophy and stated policies. The school's Gift Acceptance Policy sets forth the policies and procedures for accepting gifts to College Prep, and the Investment and Spending Policies states how funds are managed and used by the school.
