For 60 years, College Prep has helped shape wise, strong, and independent students within a joyful and caring community. While 2020 has been a year of unimaginable change, our deep commitment to teaching, learning, and building connections with one another and the greater world has served to anchor our students in turbulent times. If this year has taught us anything, it is that belonging to a community where you are cared for, challenged, and part of something greater than yourself is more important than ever in a rapidly changing world.
We know that the upcoming admission season will be different for families and schools because of the pandemic. We are creating a thoughtful plan for students and parents to get to know College Prep and for us to get to know you through the application process.
High school is a time to deepen your passions but also to explore a world of new possibilities. Maybe you will play a new sport, start a club, or join a service organization. As you dig into the work of defining what you want from your high school experience, we look forward to learning about your passions. What do you love about learning? How are you hoping to make a difference in the world? What are the essential elements that help you to thrive? At the end of your search, we hope you find a school where you will grow into a young adult who is intellectually adventurous, ethically sure-footed, and generous of heart and spirit.
College Prep encourages both individualism and inclusivity, fosters discovery and dialogue, and inspires and challenges students. More than 3,000 College Prep alumni have made the world a better place through their contributions as doctors, writers, dancers, educators, comedians, entrepreneurs, social workers, and more. Our graduates come back year after year to share their lives with a College Prep community that has become family to them.
Our admissions team is here to support you through this process of discovery. We are thrilled for the opportunity to learn more about you and look forward to answering any questions you have about College Prep.
