THE CAMPAIGN FOR COLLEGE PREP

People. Place. Purpose.

Mary Harley Jenks and Ruth Willis launched College Prep in 1960 with 33 students. Since that time, the School has thrived with its distinctive blend of high academic standards, personal responsibility, and kindness. Today, 365 students and 80 faculty and staff continue to aspire to live the motto Miss Jenks selected from Vergil—Mens Conscia Recti—a mind aware of what is right.

Now more than ever, it is imperative that College Prep is an educational community that lives its mission and philosophy. To continue to be sustainable and relevant, we must increase our commitment to financial aid, supporting teachers, and investing in our facilities. With the Strategic and Campus Master Plans as its guideposts, the Board of Trustees has set ambitious and necessary goals for our beloved school. The Campaign for College Prep was launched in September 2017 with three critical areas of focus:
