Pick Pocket Poetry

This year’s College Prep senior poetry class decided to reimagine Poem in your Pocket day as Pick Pocket Poetry. The students wrote poems that featured pockets; the word “pocket” had to appear somewhere in the poem. They brought in clothing with pockets, stuffed the pockets with copies of their poems, hung the clothes on lines in the courtyard, and invited everyone in the school to come “pick a pocket” and share the gift of a poem with their friends.
