Campus Involvement: I play on the basketball and volleyball teams at CPS, mentored as part of the partners program for a semester, and debated on the school’s public forum team for the past two years. I am also a leader of the Chinese Culture Club (an affinity club on campus), and am a graphic designer for the CPS Media Team, which creates graphics for all sports teams at CPS.

Why did you choose College Prep? I chose College Prep because of its balance between academic rigor and fun community bonding. College Prep is a place where I could see myself being appropriately challenged yet with many accessible resources to help support my learning. In addition, I was drawn to the multiple opportunities throughout the school year where the community could grow closer such as common classrooms, Intraterm, and more. 

What is your favorite thing about College Prep? My favorite thing about College Prep is the campus. I really appreciate that so much of it is outdoors, so getting to spend time in the fresh air and sunshine every day always brightens my mood. The campus also has a mix of open spaces and quieter hidden nooks, so whether I want to spend time with friends or find a peaceful place for myself, there’s always a spot for me.

What is your favorite character from a movie/book/television series? My favorite character is Ferris Bueller from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
