Applying for Financial Aid
College Prep awards financial aid based on the methodology used by Clarity Financial Aid as well as our own internal policies. Clarity’s common application is used by most Bay Area independent schools and forms the foundation of our financial aid process. Questions about the application? How to Apply
Step 1: Complete the Clarity Application

- Returning families: Application due December 1, 2025

- New applicants: Application due January 8, 2026

- Application fee: $60

- Fee waivers are automatically granted to qualifying families.
- If this fee presents a hardship and you are not automatically granted a waiver, please contact our office at financialaid@college-prep.org.

| January 8, 2026 | Financial aid application due (new applicants) |
| February 8, 2026 | Upload W-2s and pay stub to Clarity (new applicants only) |
| March 20, 2026 | Financial aid notifications sent via portal to newly admitted students (by 4:00 PM) |
| March 27, 2026 | Deadline to respond to financial aid offers (by 10:00 AM, no exceptions) |
