Samuel S. '26 has been recognized by the Society for Science as a Top 300 Scholar in the 2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. The STS was founded in 1942 with the goal of “recognizing and empowering our nation’s most promising young scientists, who are developing ideas that could solve society’s most urgent challenges.” Samuel has been working since spring 2025 to design, build, and test a new DNA-based cancer therapy tool that releases anti-cancer drugs only under the appropriate conditions in the body. As a top 300 competitor, Samuel will receive a $2000 prize, as will College Prep. Thank you and congratulations, Samuel!
