Grandfriends Day

We are always delighted to have grandfriends visit on this special day, and this year was no exception. Monique DeVane, Head of School, welcomed 136 grandfriends with remarks about poetry, followed by a hilarious medley of cartoon theme songs sung expertly by the Senior A Cappella Group. Grandfriends joined their students for the all-school assembly in the courtyard featuring a trivia quiz, then off to 3rd and 4th period, and a wonderful box lunch. Though the weather was chilly, the atmosphere was definitely warm.
